One year today

Today is my one year anniversary of my new aortic valve. Unfortunately I will be having another surgery in 4 days to have a valve (and root) replacement. I'm getting scared, although I this time I do know I can survive, I did it once before.

It's not a whole lot of fun to hear you need to go through this again in 7 years (me); I can't imagine what it would be like to hear that after again after just 1 year. You'll certainly be in my thoughts and prayers 4 days from now. You'll do great.
