Wow, time flies. I think this time last year I was probably getting wheeled into OR. You know when you have those strange conversations with the medical staff as they try to take your mind off it "....nice weather isn't it.....", "....so where are you going on holiday this year.....". Scary stuff!

So glad I discovered this site way back last year, thanks to everyone for your support, advice and prayers in the run up to THE OP and afterwards on the not so rocky recovery road.

Congratulations #1 the year goes faster than the initial last bit of waiting to get surgery done.
enjoy all your valversarys to come it's a blessing to celebrate.
 
Happy first -- I agree with Zipper 2 that the days that you wait for surgery seem longer than the recovery period. I am glad you are well -- rejoice every day!
