We visited Chris' cardiologist today thinking he would have a treadmill test. But no go. Because he is fighting a cold now, there was no point in trying. He said it would make him sicker and not give accurate results.
So for now, 2 more weeks of on the inhaler and Singulair plus Mucinex and/or Delsym for congestion and cough. Then back to the cardio for a possible treadmill test if his lung function cooperates.
For today, his lung function is a little bit improved, which is promising since he is fighting a cold now.
Once we have the treadmill results, we will probably schedule a cath either to place a melody valve (if he's a candidate) or to measure for a possible surgically placed valve.
So I guess we're still in a holding pattern for now. Thanks everyone for your continued thoughts and prayers!
