(3) A Bug (!)
I just decoded my SETI apps alert ... it says

can you perhaps help me with how long we now have?

We had the cicadas a few years back - WAAY louder than my ticker!

Hmmm, makes me wonder. Around here in the summertime those things (or something like them) are in the trees and are SOOOO LOUD it's insane (since there's like a hundred thousand per tree). Can you imagine? 100,000 bugs in each tree and all of them with tiny artificial heart valves!! Does every one of them self-test their INR or use a testing service???? Which reminds me I have a Coaguchek XS meter question I have to post....

Easier said than done but turn off your brain and just go along for the ride, let the Drs/staff do their thing, next thing you know the Surgery will be over, the hospital stay will be a foggy memory, you'll be home on the mend, and back here letting us know how you're doing!

When I was in the hospital someone brought me a tablet to stay connected on the 'net which really helped pass the time btw, kept me occupied. I did a lot of stuff on a music forum I'm active in but didn't find this place until a few weeks later when I was home searching for some answers to medical Qs I had that only people who had been through the similar journey could answer. YOU have a leg up on me (most members probably) since yer ALREADY here and we are now at you beck & call!

Made it through surgery. Trying to Inflate my right lung all the way so I can go home. I can NOT hear my valve, which was something I worried about.
Fantastic news! Welcome to the other side. Hope things settle and heal soon and you can go home.
One day at a time. Slowly but surely, things should improve.
All the best to you for the days ahead.

Here's a Sunday flower for you:

Glad that you can't hear your valve. I have a St Jude and rarely hear mine. The vast majority are not bothered by their valve sound, if they even hear it. More monster under the bed fear than a reality, at least for most of us.

Wishing you a great recovery!
