New info on Multaq

Multaq is the less-toxic product that was developed to replace the effective, but dangerous arrhythmia drug Amiodorone.

Now it seems it's not good for those with A-Fib or heart failure.

I was on that when I went into afib and CHF after surgery. Glad they took me off it.

I'm still on it for very mild A-Fib (here and there, but not too often). I haven't had any issues with it. I am short of breath quite a bit, but my cardio did an angiogram back in September and my heart looks great. We're still trying to figure out the cause of my shortness of breath.
