Interesting you should bring up the rabies shots lasting 3 yrs. Some years ago (before vets got hold of state legislature) I used to give all my animals their shots. I know how - I saved money. At the farm store where I bought my supplies, they told me that the rabies shot was good for 3 years. All of a sudden, one year, it was unavailable to consumers outside the vet's office. So I just gave the animals the other shots. All of a sudden, one year, those were unavailable outside the vet's office as well. Goes to show the influence on legislature. Folks from near states used to come to Fl to get animal supplies for vaccinations for animals. No more. Such a shame.
