Home Testing for INR

I've just been told my insurance does NOT cover Home Testing Units for INR.

Has anyone had any luck in persuading their insurance carriers to pay for a Home Testing Unit? My Primary Care Physician is willing to support me fully in this quest. HELP !

Hi Al,

My insurance company covered 80% of the cost, and many others on here have also had good results. Lance at QAS was a big help in getting my insurance company to pay for the unit.

You may want to call QAS on their "800" number and talk with Lance.
