The Bobby Darin movie "Beyond the Sea"? Saw a bit of it on The Larry King
Show and they seemed uninformed about valve problems. I wondered how they treated the subject in the movie and if it was worth seeing. I remembered his death and feeling how lucky I was to be living with my ball
valve.

I did see Beyond the Sea this weekend. I would agree that they didn't really handle the reality of valve problems very well. It was like one scene he was sick, and the next there was nothing wrong with him... But I didn't let it get in my way of enjoying the movie overall. The whole movie was unrealistic in the style. After all, Kevin Spacey playing a 20-30 year old??? Not very realistic... ;) There was a line in the movie that said "Memories are like moonbeams..." Essentially they were trying to give themselves permission to take liberties. ;) Overall I did like the movie. Not the BEST movie ever, but enjoyable while I was there.
