Well....not quite sure what to make of this. From being critically hypertensive pre-op to a BP @ discharge 138/90 to a current BP ranging from 80/80 to 106/77 HR is ok from 70-110 the last 2 days. I feel ok but just a tad off...not even sure how to describe it. Could be just my heart adjusting/meds side effects but any feedback appreciated. Might still be adjusting to meds .

It also could be I have NEVER had normal/low BP in my life. :cool2:

Currently taking:
Potassium Chloride 8MEQ 2x a day
Metopropol 50 mg 2 x a day
Nifedipine ER 60 mg 1 a day
Furosemide 20 mg 2x a day
I take 1 aleve every 12 hours for pain, maybe odd ibuprofin/or tylenol as/if needed

I have discontinued Ramapril due to cough (ok'd by GP)

Thanks !!

Helen

Keep in mind that none of us here are doctors . . . but your little heart has been through the wars in the past couple of weeks and needs time to adjust!! Feeling just 'a tad off' sounds like a huge improvement actually! :)

Make sure to eat good quality food, do your walking, rest, and if you get worried, ring the doctor or hospital.
