I was told to take the G/C for some hip pain by my primary doctor. The pain did decrease but my inr went up, out of range. Has anyone used glucosamine/chondroitin with their blood thinner?
It is what we call them, easier to pronounce.yes I've used it.
There is no clear indication of interaction.
BTW ... you know your blood thinners are really AntiCoagulation medication right? The viscosity is unchanged and no thinning actually occurs from any perspective how what we'd call thinners.
so, what about just saying ACT?, easier to pronounce.
And in the USA, we do not get Coumadin no longer, we use Warfarin. If you believe Wiki: Warfarin, sold under the brand name Coumadin among others, is a medication that is used as an anticoagulant (blood thinner).
