I'm sure you'll find that ... informative. To my mind it goes like this:
  1. seek the advice of the practitioners doing the procedure
  2. if you don't trust them (or it sounds crazy) ask input from a coagulation therapy specialist
the primary issues are:
  • what is your INR range
  • what type of valve do you have
  • what other complicators exist (say; deep vein thrombosis, atrial fib ...)
myself I may just discontinue warfarin for 1 or 2 days and then resume after the procedure. However I know myself fairly well
 
I'm the lucky writer of that post that Pellicle linked. I start to adjust my meds and diet tomorrow. By the way, my instructions for after the procedure have changed since I first posted. I will now be taking both the Lovenox shots and my Warfarin together, until my INR gets back into my 2.5 - 3.5 range.

I'll let everyone knows how that this turns out. Gonna be loads of fun...NOT!
