Just wondering if any of you have ever heard of Postpartum cardiomyopathy?? Apparently it is extremely rare - happens in one in 3000 births. Anyway, a good friend of mine has just been diagnosed with it after having her first baby. Two days after the birth she had many of the symptoms of heart failure including SOB etc. and that is how it was found. I know it is not a valve related problem but thought someone on here may have had experience with it or know of how successful treatment options are???
