BCBS coverage in Michigan?

Does anyone know if BCBS of Michigan has approved home testing equipment and supplies as a covered benefit (especially for the auto companies)?

In addition to Medicare I have BC/BS of Michigan.I am retired from the auto companies.
As soon as I can I will try and get that info for you.
I assume you are referring to home testing for Coumadin.

Thanks Rich. Yes, I guess I should have made that "home testing for anticoagulation / Coumadin / Warfarin" just so there was no misunderstanding. Precision in language just takes soooo many words!

Hi Al,
I spoke to Blue Cross a short time ago.
They said this type of equipment is covered by a company named Northwood.
You would have to call them at 1-800-936-9314.
That's about the best I could do.
