Once again I thank everyone for good wishes and helpful information.
I feel like I've been in the waiting... and waiting and waiting...room. In early December my cardiologist said we'd see about an angiogram "after the holidays". So I gave them a week after Jan 1, then gave them a call. Saw her today, and will have the catherization in the next two weeks, with a surgeon appointment a week later, and surgery in another week--she says. I hope it all goes that promptly. My cardiologist makes a pretty good case for having the surgery in Tucson, so that's what it looks like.
I'm so relieved to get to this point. I feel pretty awful most of the time now and frustrated by having had my life on hold for so long.
Gym Guy, given the weather back east, you might want to take that stroll in Tucson.
