Hi there, I am new to this site, and I think its fantastic, andvery helpful.
I am curious to know if anyone has had the aortic arch replaced with a graft?
The reason I ask this is that I have a dilated ascending aorta along with the brachiocephalic artery, and to do the surgery they would have to replace the whole arch, as well as the brachiocephalic artery.
We understand this would be extensive surgery as they would have to stitch the other two arteries - left carotid and left subclavian to the aortic arch graft as well.
It would be good to know of others that have had this type of surgery.
