I remember all too well the "waiting." my thoughts and prayers are with you and your husband! (I went through this 2 years ago with my 81 year old mother and since then have found out that our son, 16 years old has BAV stenosis and will need surgery probably within 5 years. two years ago I never would have thought my own child would someday have to go through this) I know what kept me "together" was reminding myself, and her, how experienced, confident the surgeons were....and lots of deep breathing! All will be ok! keep us posted.
