Sorry to hear of your troubles HArry...
I have a thought re: the spinal stenosis...has a Rhizotomy been suggested as a possibility for some pain relief?...its where they ZAP the nerves that are sending out the pain signals. I had it done on 3 levels of my Lumbar spine and got fabulous relief. I had previously had good results with injections to block the nerves and this was like a long-lasting one. I got about 9 months relief.
