I chose a tissue valve at 56 years old back in 2009. 7 years later at 63 and my cardiologist is still sticking with her belief that it will last the planned 15-20 years. Good to hear additional information that validates that. Thanks for sharing.

I have the Carpentier Edwards Magna Ease Aortic valve. It's a 25mm tissue valve (bovine)

I have a shirt !!! Never posted a picture and then completely forgot about it. That is actually good news, things have gone well after surgery and I fell off visiting the site. Will find the package and post some pics... and wait for someone to volunteer to get the shirt next !!

September 23rd came and went and I completely forgot that it was my 2 year anniversary. I think that says alot about how I have been feeling... getting old, but pretty dam healthy. and happy about it. : Have not been back to the site for a while mostly because I have had no issues at all...
