    I'm Home!

    Wanted to report that I got home yesterday. Surgery on Friday lasted 4 hours and I was able to have the minimally invasive surgery. Very little pain but am achy. Still getting use to the increased activity from all the bed rest in the hospital. Major hot flushes. Thanks for the positive vibes

    I have a date, June 12th

    Been lurking around for some time now and the information on here has been helpful and confusing. BAV replacement surgery on June 12th. Dr Joseph Lamelas is my surgeon here in Miami and will determine day of surgery whether I have the minimal invasive or more traditional surgery.
