    Pardaxa Recieves FDA aproval

    A new anticoagulant has received FDA approval. It is to be a replacement for coumadin and everyone takes the same dose and does not require testing. May be something folks want to talk with their MD about. http://www.stoptheclot.org/News/article242.htm

    Had an Echo done today

    I has been 14 months since my AVR so I had a follow up echo with my cardio today. He said every thing was perfect and I will see im in a year and unless I have problems he does not see the need for another echo for 2 years. Horaaaaa!

    Starting New year with another surgery

    I will be gettin a hip replacement on Jan 6, 2010. I hate facing another surgery but want to walk without crutches again. Already have the clearance from my cardio. We bought a motorhome last month and hope to take it to the beach in March. It will be nice to just leave footprints in the sand.

    Going for my post op checkup

    I will be going back to St Louis to see my surgeon Thursday Aug 6. I feel like evry thing is going fine I guess I will know for sure then. The only problem I have now is some pain in my left shoulder. I think it is a nerve or rotator cup but hopefully that will heal.
