    Thanks dpalz, good to hear of you being so well :) I start my cardio rehab in 3 weeks, Im looking forward to that as although my leg muscles are ok my upper body and arms are not, so looking forward to doing some small weight exercises to regain my strength

    seem to have stabilised at 72kg's for 3 days now, I was 78kg 2 weeks ago, Im not dieting or anything but have changed my diet to low fat and lot of fruit fish & veggies, Ive cut out the cheese, pastry, white bread etc ohh and the Shiraz ski girl :D

    thank you Rachel, yes Im progressing well, Im now 12 days post op and today we visited a huge IKEA store and I walked the whole thing, we had some lunch also, early this morning I walked 500 meters on my treadmill in 10 minutes, Im cooking dinner every night and sleeping about 6 hours a night...

    yes no problem having 1 or 2 glasses, but I feel a lot better for not having had any wine for 2 weeks so I think I'll use the break to quit drinking it altogether, I actually think wine is bad for you in other ways

    Thanks njean, it must have been a lot erm scarier back then, no internet, less knowlege, I bet anaesthetics were a bit more barbaric as well :(
