My INR also dropped to 1.7 from 2.5 range during Covid and I had to bump my dose to get back to 2.5 range . It took couple of days for me to get INR up .

My story is very much similar to yours . I had my AVR with On-X metallic in Aug 2019 .

What I have noticed is, my BP goes up when I cut on my food like if I get into a fruits /Egg only diet etc . If I neat normal balanced food my BP stays around the 135/85 range. When I fast it goes up to 150/95 range .

In fact he took BP twice one each on 2 arms and the reading was the same ie 170/100 . Probably white coat effect . Dont know !!!

My On-x ticks too . The intensity of sound varies slightly at times . I know someone with a St Jude but absolutely no ticking sound since his surgery (that was 23 years ago ) . I too feel it’s to do with the orientation of the valve and individual body structure
