    My surgeon put me on it for one month after surgery.Why I don't know.I never had A-fib after surgery.I would impress upon your doctor, your desire to try a different drug.

    Basketball?

    Alex,I'm back to playing sand volleyball and golf.Basketball will be coming up in another month after golf season.Seven months post-op.I was a little sore after the first time but think it was the six and a half months off.Should be no problem for you.Good-Luck!!

    Bill, don't gargle the junk they give you to numb your throat.That stuff made me gag.I spit the second thicker stuff out right away.They gave me an IV and next thing I knew the test was over.Just tell them to put you out!!!!
