My local cardiologist has it too. His website profile says...
"As a consequence of my work into the management of atrial fibrillation, I was awarded an MD thesis by the University of London and awarded the Fellowship of the European Society of Cardiology (FESC) in 2004. In 2007 I was the only cardiologist in the British Isles to be awarded Fellowship of the American College of Cardiology (FACC)."
