Hepatitis B Vaccination & Warfarin

Hi,

Does anyone know if this vaccine will dramatically affect the INR - does it interact with Warfarin? I've been looking but can't seem to get a clear answer.

Brigitte,

I don't know if they do or not, but I had my entire series of Hep B shots after my surgery, so I was on warfarin the whole time. Don't worry too much about it, even if there is a change in INR, it would only be temporary...5 or 6 days at best.

Get your vaccination (there's no better way to avoid Hep B. B=Bad)
