Hi, all--
I saw one of my best girlfriends tonight for our every-so-often "Grown-Up Girl Time." She sends the husband and kids out, and we hang out.
Anyway, a friend of hers from church just suddenly passed away. She wasn't much older than us (mid 30s) and was at a family function when she suddenly collapsed. She'd gone into cardiac arrest, and the autopsy showed that the cause of death was severe mitral valve prolapse. There was basically nothing left of her valve. She'd had no symptoms--no clue that there was anything wrong with her valve. This beautiful young woman leaves behind two small children and a husband of only seven years. What a tragedy.
Please pray that her family can get through this sudden passing.
Thanks,
Debi (debster913)
