I have posted.

with all of our newcomers, some may not know who Hank is. For those who don't know, Hank is the owner of this site. he created it because he could find nothing when he had valve surgery and he wanted nobody else to have go through not knowing what it is all about. He created ValveReplacement in 1998 and it began as an e-mail site. I joined in 2000 and there were fewer than 100 members; maybe less than 50. Over the years it has grown and been through several new site formats and this one is what we have now. The site has grown and grown and grown. If not for Hank, this great site would not exist and would not now be known all over the world. He is to be commended for making this site available and free to all who are interested in or having valve surgery. He has been the head of the bunch for all of this time, but has gotten very busy in his career; made Ross our moderator and he's the one we mostly see/hear about/from.

I extend my condolences to Hank and his lovely family. Wishing you well, Hank and Michelle and family. I know everyone else does, too.

I have been AWOL for a couple days.
Very sad to see this.

I am glad, Ross, you mentioned who Hank is, as maybe many do not know him. May I also suggest that you mention that he is the site owner in the subject title?! so that this will not be missed.:)--Only 71 out of 654 had responded!!

I haven't been on here much lately and I did not see the post. Maybe lots of us did not see it. I can not imagine anyone not responding it they did see it.
