My grandmother Grace would have had her 79th birthday today.
I bring her to your attention because she gave me my sense of
hope and optimism and always said 'if you want it badly enough ,
no matter what it may be , you can get it.' And she was right -
it may involve alot of hard work etc, but 'it' is always within reach.
I know she would have appreciated this site and the helpful people
who make it what it is.
Thanks for everything to so many ,
And I Love You Mom!
This is my favorite picture of her taken in the late '40s,or early
'50s - is it any wonder I idolized her???

What a lovely tribute, your grandmother was so beautiful, like a movie star, I love those old glamor shots. Wish they would do them more now.

She's beautiful Dina!!! Her name fits her so well. GRACE!! Could tell by her name she must of been a wonderful Grandmother.
Always have the memories!!!!

What a beautiful lady!

What a beautiful lady!

What a lovely tribute you posted.
Such a beautiful lady! She was probably even more beautiful inside. You're lucky to have had her in your life and so sad that she's no longer with you.
But you'll see her again someday, and she will be just as beautiful again.

God Bless

Thanks for the replies and I always thought she was well named too,
especially since she was just as beautiful on the inside. I was indeed lucky
to have her in my life-Dina

She looks like a movie star! Thank you for sharing your touching tribute.

Wow!

Wow!

YOur grandmother looks a lot like my mom did when she was younger, right down to the red hair. What a wonderful tribute and so sorry for your loss. Hugs. Janet

I just noticed that you were from Texas , and even thogh Grace was born
in Lousville, she spent 15 years in Texas and absolutely loved it there.
She and my granfather lived in Houston and League City, I used to visit
for extended periods and lived there myself for a year and 1/2.
