WHY MEN STARTED WEARING EARRINGS

A man is at work one day when he notices that his co-worker is wearing an
earring. This man knows his co-worker to be a normally conservative fellow,
and is curious about his sudden change in 'fashion sense.'

The man walks up to him and says, 'I didn't know you were into earrings.'

'Don't make such a big deal, it's only an earring,' he replies sheepishly.

His friend falls silent for a few minutes, but then his curiosity prods him
to say, 'So, how long have you been wearing one?'

'Ever since my wife found it in my car.'

I always wondered how this trend got started..

Shoot. Be real careful about gwine out wif them full figgerd wimmen. Cousin Earl says he doesn't see how them wimmen kin stan' t'wears them girdles all th' time. He did say it was easier t'button his jeans though, but kinda bindin' in a few places, eff'n yo' git mah drif'.:rolleyes:;):p

Bubba :)

So do we have/have we had any male earing wearers?

I had a pierced ear with an assortment of studs and dangley stuff for a decade or so. One of my faves was a plastic Minnie Mouse.

Hole long since healed up through no use.

Not I.... I told my boys that if they want to get an earring, that is fine, but I get to choose where the second hole goes (and I generally look at their groin when I say that). Since sharing that with them, they stopped talking about earrings.

Body piercing in those areas does have it's followers. ;) Not my cup of tea I hasten to add. I worked with a heavily tattooed and pierced guy who had a Prince Albert.

I sort of indicated that I would use a hammer and nail to do it as well.

I second what Bina said. Besides, who needs earrings when you have scars. Last time I checked, I have 10 of them (not all heart related).

........and did this guy just happen to flash his Prince Albert....:D

... And you were looking at his "thing" because why? Is there something we need to know about you Bonzo?? :)

No, now here's the strange inconsistency, you would think exhibitionist wouldn't you? However despite enthusiastic requests from women workers who offered to get a kitty together and pay for a sighting, it was never revealed. In the gents Phil never stood at a urinal with the blokes, always went behind a closed door. So no one saw it. I remember he walked pretty funny for a week after getting it done. :D

Bonzo, where I live, any man wearing dangley earings is going to get the crap kicked out of him.
And then the body gets buried out on the corn fields....LOL

Even Keith and Johnny?

How do I respond to the bloke dressed as a croc with four boobies?:D:D No... the one in the middle (the big ugly guy) doesn't have earrings. Now what would be disgusting is to find out that my doc had a Prince Albert. YUCK! I can't imagine why any guy in his right mind would even do that to himself.

I just put my earings back in the other day after having them out for years. I had them pierced with a 12 gauge so they wouldn't fill back in. Doc says no more piercings or tattoos.

Perry, that was hilarious what you told your kids. :D I'll have to remember that one.
