Mitral Valve Annie

Hi all, It's been almost a year since my mitral valve replacement. It has been quite a year with ups and down both physically and mentally. I have just one recurring issue that maybe someone out there can help with. I continue to have occasional pain just to the right of my incision - high up on my chest. Is this just a slow to heal nerve that got "jiggled" (as my surgeon's nurse practitioner calls it) or something else? Will it be with me for years? Thanx!:D

I'm over 2 year out and still get occasional aches and pains from my incision. Sometimes it sort of feels like pins pricking the area. Its annoying but doesn't impede me in any way.

I got that one for quite a while too, for sure 12 months, and still feel a twinge when I do pec flys on my home gym. I'm almost to 2 years. Nerve or bone or muscle, it doesn't matter what it is, it just takes a while to heal, and may be permanent. yes, you are normal!
