so now they pushed it bak til monday!! im tired of waiting..its soo stressful i just want to get it over with. I was ready wed. the original date then they pushed it bak til then next day and now i have o wait 4 more days ughh

Sorry to hear you're delayed again. Hang in there and try to make the best of it. Perhaps there's something fun and relaxing you can do over the weekend to occupy the time.
I see you're from La. Where are you having your surgery and who is your surgeon if you don't mind telling.

I'm so sorry you are going through these delays, Erica- nerve wracking! I put you on the calendar for Monday, but you will have to delete the old date as you put it on yourself. I hope you can find peace of mind this weekend.

I so feel for you having to cope with these delays. My stomach gets in a knot thinking about it. Hang in and keep thinking there is a reason for everything......

Be careful what you wish for...
I heard of one surgeon who didn't leave the hospital for 3 days AND nights because of emergencies and availability of Transplant Hearts. Hopefully he managed a few naps between surgeries!
It's BETTER to have your surgeon come in rested and alert than to take you as his 3rd or 4th surgery of the day (and night?)!

Is there a good movie or two out now that you want to see? Now's the time. Monday is not that far away, though it may seem that way. I'll second what Al said; you definitely want a rested surgeon. Sometimes delays can be a blessing...I know it's not easy though, and I sympathize. I had a month's delay because of a bad cold... gave me a little more time to be sure all my ducks were in a row, but sure it can be frustrating. All best to you -- will be sending best thoughts and prayers Monday....Let us know how you're doing....
