A hatchling in the works. I have no idea how mom and dad are. They do not talk about anything with us and it kind of hurts.

Sometimes it's better not to know. :)

Ross, don't take it personally, they are young, probably a bit overwhelmed, and trying to work things out.
I know, I'm trying to stay out of it and let them handle it. Just wish Chris would at least let me know what he's thinking about.

Congratulations Grandpa, I bet you're very proud already, and you should be.

I had a son who let me know ALL his feelings - and that was stressful for me too! I'm sure Chris knows you're there if he needs you. And you'll know if you need to step in a bit.

Ross -

i.e. Gramps - :D - congratulations! Your grandson is a gift from God to all of you! Remember the advice you just gave me, to give a child "wings" and don't be overprotective! Will you follow your own advice with this little man? ;)

Wow, it's amazing the pictures they can get these days. Congratulations, Ross! You'll be a wonderful grandpa.

Congrats!!

Be patient. They're probably completely freaked out and in love with the idea at the same time. Very hard to want to share that with your parents! The 20's are tough enough as it is! (all 3 of mine are in their 20's..... drives me crazy!)

Best wishes!
