Just want to get started on this thread for you Debbie as I know you are going in for the cath on Wed. and surgery Thurs. You've done your research as far as the surgery and the surgeons and I know you will be just fine. Look forward to hearing whether you got a homograph or porcine valve and that all is well and you are having an uneventful recovery. Hope someone can post for you. Godspeed!

Best wishes, Debbie, for a successful surgery and an easy recovery.
Godspeed

Best wishes for a successful surgery and smooth, uneventful, recovery, Debbie. I look forward to your update from the other side of the mountain.

Best Wishes, Debbie

Will put you on the prayer list, but I know you'll be ok.

Good Luck Debbie...you are going to do great, I just know it! My prayer for you is that your surgery goes as smoothly a mine and your recovery is just as easy as mine has been! I wish we could have met but maybe we will be able to at a West Coast reunion some time in the future!
Take care of yourself, relax if you can, and eat some yummy food!

Debbie,

You have VR.com people all over the world pulling for you. I know you will do well. Best wishes for a successful surgery and uneventful recovery.

Hi Debbie,

Dear Phyllis, thank you so much for starting this post for me, that was very nice of you! The plan is to leave for the hospital at 4:00 am, arrive by 6:00 for check in(why are these things so early??) heart cath and possible stents at 8:00 or so. Recover from that, do whatever pre-op work they want and fill out lots of paperwork. Spend the night and surgery is at 7:00 am. Does'nt this all sound like fun :p :p Hey guess what i did fun today, I had my nails done and I had them painted very light pink with two of my fingers having little red hearts air brushed on with alittle jewel in the middle. They look great, I know I'll look like crap in a few days, but my nails will look good!!! Debbie:)

Like I told you, I looked like a homeless when I left the hospital. There is plenty of time to look pretty once you are home. I bet those hearts will get a few comments while you are "under". Prayers to you for a successful and uneventful surgery. We will be looking for your updates.
