So I have a question. I was so excited that the scale said 179.5 before my shower (and I got off, waited and got back on just to be sure!) that I instead put on my robe, went online and bought myself a little treat I'd been eyeing for just such an occasion. I then took my shower, dried my hair and got back on just to make myself feel like dancing some more. Well.....I then weighed 1.5 pounds MORE!!!  And I'd even pee-ed in between!!!! So what....does our skin absorb water??
I say YES! (even if that's not true) ;) Oh, and don't forget all that water in your hair. It's gotta weigh a ton, right? ;) I've had the same thing happen. It doesn't make sense to me. But Woo Hoo! on making it down to the next tens! :D That's awesome. All I need is half a pound to do that, but alas I seem to be stuck. Oh, well. It will happen!

What a wonderful discovery at the local bakery -- containers of miniature cranberry-orange scones! One serving of three scones is 250 calories, but one could partake of just one @ a mere 83 cals. That's less than those 100-calorie snack packs I am relying on so much.

Since we established beyond a reasonable doubt in a previous thread that cranberry-orange scones are "better than sex," what does that make a miniature cranberry-orange scone? Better than, hmmmmmmm, something quick? Rhymes with yippee? :p :p ;) ;)

Hmmm?..lets see?.could be hippie, bippie, skippie, sippie??..quickie really does not rhyme and I do not recall that scones were rated over sex, which they are not??IMHO.:D But I guess availability would come into play in that rating. :p

Hi losers...I keep forgetting to find this thread in its new home  ...

I have been eating healthily and still not managing to lose any weight...my scales must be stuck!...although I did manage to lose the water-weight so I dunno how that worked?!

I have lots of reading to do to to catch up on all the gossip from last weeks losers.

You are all doing such a great job, I want to lose some extra poundage too.

It's either going to have to be the miniature scones or the quickie sex. If the sex isn't quickie - I don't have time right now and can eat the scones on the run!!!!!:D :D :D

Precisely! This is one of the advantages of scones over sex. I am disappointed that the Ref does not recognize this. :p ;)

No, you're a lucky man! Would you rather be microwaving a Sara Lee pie for your Christmas feast? :p :)

Believe me, I am not complaining!:) I am just stating the obvious, I ?am? toast!! And besides, it would be unbelievably rude for me to refuse the culinary delights prepared with such love:D
