I know you are going to Cleveland for your AVR and triple bypass on Monday. Hope we caught you before you left! You are in great hands and I know you will do just fine. Hoping someone will post and let us know how you are. Godspeed!

Best wishes for a successful CC surgery and recovery! You'll be in great hands!
We'll catch you on the other side and hope for a terrific post-op report!

Blnmakerr's Surgery On Monday

Blnmakerr's Surgery On Monday

This the the final weekend prior to BAVR + triple bypass surgery and I am trying to stay as busy as possible. Went to my grandson's high school football game last night and saw him score two touchdowns in the fourth quarter to seal the victory. Today I am going to our County Fair to help my family staff the booth for our service business. Tomorrow friends from North Carolina are coming in to be with my wife and family before, during and after surgery.

I want to let everyone know what a comfort and inspiration it has been to read the posts of those that have "been there, done that" on ValveReplacement.com. Facing BAVR surgery is tough both physically and mentally, but facing it without the supportive members on VR site would have been much tougher. Thank you for being there for me and my family.

Look forward to posting again "on the other side of the mountain".

Doug, that must have been a thrill to see the grandson's two fourth-quarter TDs!

Godspeed. We'll all be pulling for you and looking forward to hearing reports from you when you reach the other side of the mountain.

All best wishes,

Doug,

GOOD LUCK!

Thoughts/prayers coming your way for a SUCCESSFUL surgery :).

I do know that Blnmaker's surgery was later in the day Monday than originally planned. He was to report at 10:00 a.m. instead of 5:15 a.m. I don't know if anyone in his family will post for him. If possible, I will try to post a report once we arrive at Cleveland Clinic. My husband has surgery the 27th so Blnmaker will still be there!

I am anxious to hear about him. Our families have walked this road "together" through this wonderful forum.
