5 year anniversary today!!!

Wow.....can't believe it has been 5 years since my valve replacement!! It was actually scheduled for September 11, 2002, one year after 9-11, but was moved back because of all the work they found that had to be done. Just wanted all of the pre-surgery patients to know that you will make it and the time since then has seemed to fly. My recovery was a lot harder and took longer but considering how I feel now it is a world of difference. Thank you to this board for all the wonderful support I found before and after the "BIG" day...it made everything so much better!! Everyone here is awesome...THANK YOU all for making this journey less scary!!
