That's great to hear!!! Another successful surgery for Dr. Ryan! :)

BTW, Mary C, did you find the red heart pillow kinda useless? I think one of our cats, Louie, took over John's heart pillow from Presby. He hasn't had problems anytime when sneezing or coughing.

road to recovery

road to recovery

as my sister posted, dr. ryan was able to repair my valve. i hit a pothole in the road to recovery when i suffered a
"classic stroke". they apparently nicked a branch of an artery and closed me up without noticing. they figured it out when my bp dropped and i started losing blood. i don't have the use of most of my right hand and arm. not quite the recovery problem i was expecting, but at least it's only temporary.

So sorry to hear you had this complication, Katie and hope recovery is quick and complete!

Katie,

GOOD to see you POSTING again!!!

Very sorry about that complication ... sounds very frustrating. BUT ... glad it IS only temporary!

Thoughts/prayers coming your way for a continued SUCCESSFUL recovery :).

Katie, that was a pretty big "boo boo" you encountered!

You've got a much better attitude than what I would have.

I know you will recover quickly, because you're looking ahead, not behind.:)

Way to go, Girl!:) :p

Hi Sherri - I sure hope this pothole is soon a distant memory for you and you will be much better very soon. Take care and post again when you can.

I am glad to see my sister posting again. You are right about her attitude....I was dying inside and Sherri was calm as could be. I thought it might be all of the medication she was on, but she continued with the same calm positive attitude all the way through the week. I can't wait to hear her tell me she has everything back.
