Here is the latest update from Wendy (Cocoalab). Please continue the prayers and good thoughts.

Andrew has had his TEE. There is vegetation on his tricuspid and ulcers or something on his mitral where he has some pacemaker wires as well. The surgeons are reviewing this as I type. If it is decided that surgery is the way to go it may be as soon as tonight.

Many prayers for wisdom please. His heart function seemed pretty good for him (Moderatly depressed)they didn't feel that it was significantly worse in that respect. Now its all about optimal timing is he strong enough to go though surgery, I worry about his kidney function and especially his heart.

James 1:5 (King James Version)

If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

Thank you for praying and up holding us with your love!
Wendy, Randy, Andrew, Nathan and Joel

What a tough time for them all.
Upholding Andrew and his family in prayer. May God's wise Spirit guide the surgeons and medical staff.

No update yet today on Andrew. I check my email periodically for update alerts.

So sorry to take so long in updating once again. This is a second try since I accidentally deleted the last one.

Andrew has not had surgery. He is too sick and would not likely survive. We need for his body to get stronger. Kidney function needs to be better and the bacteria in the blood stream needs to be brought under control. So he is on continuous dialysis and is on his antibiotics and is still getting respirtory support.

He is looking better and his blood culture has beeen negative for two days for the first time since he was sick.

Joel and Nathan have come to visit to me and Andrew, and it was good to see them. I have missed them. They have even brought me a gift for Mothers day. :-D

I saw Nathan's x-ray. Ouch! So it looks like he will need to see an orthopedic. What's one more doc? LOL!!!

It's been a good day and keep praying for Andrew to get better and strong enough for the surgery he needs. We need to remove his prosthetic valve at least clean up the other valve and remove his ICD and wires if possible.

Opthamolgy looked at him today again and he has a little scratch that needs meds but inside they look fine.

God is still good all the time. He knows the end from the begining and we can rest in that.

heart hugs,
wendy

Thanks for taking time to update, Lyn. Your whole family is in our hearts and prayers. Hopefully, Andrew will soon be strong enough for the surgery and then will start to turn the corner. Godspeed!

Lyn,

Thanks for the update.

Thoughts/prayers continuing for Andrew and his family, too, of course.
