Hi I wanted to let you know we hav an appt with the surgeon, Dr.Spray at CHOP on thurs the 26th around noon, depending on how his surgeries are going. We still aren't sure this is where we will go, but he did the last one and is one of the best. We also had/are having everything sent to Boston childrens, since he has gone there for opinions before and they have alot of clinical trials going on, I origonally called to see where they are on the tissue engineered conduit/valves, but it is still to early, they have a trial starting on valve replacemnts by cath, but I doubt that would help him, but they said it was worth sending his records and they could see what they could suggest, if it is the same as CHOP offers, we would stay here, since he is good, knows Justin's heart and it is 15 min away and Boston is 5 hours, so please keep us in your prayers as we try to make the best decisions, thanks lyn

while you are praying for us

while you are praying for us

Could you ay a few for my dad too? he is 77 previously very healthy (still shovels the "older'lol neighbors walks ect). he was prett sick a couple weeks ago, right before Justin's cath and ended up in the ER, turned out he was having A FIB and a few other problems, my mom is on O2 and had bronchits at the same time, so i could really hear everything well, they live 4 hours away and do not want us to come when they are in the hospital ect , because they stress about feeding us ect, i know, makes NO sense to me either, but I just go along with them. So they started him on coum and he was home in about 5 days. he had his card appt last week and his mitral valve is leaking and his heart is 'weak' sooo he needs a cath and then they will go from there. They are a little nervous about the cath, because my mom actually had one break off in her about 10 years ago and that was pretty must a disaster. So any prayers for our family would really be appreciated

Lyn, you absolutely have my prayers. I'm so sorry you are having to deal with so much family health issues. I know your parents reactions can be frustrating. I see that type of attitude with my very aging in-laws. But I guess we are always parents, no matter how old we get, and we want to do the care-giving. God bless.

Sending prayers for Justin and your Dad as well. You have a full plate, Lyn- try to find some time to take care of yourself as well.

Your family is in my prayers... all the best to you.

Chris
