Hi everyone, Today is my daughter Sarah's Birthday. She is 17 years old. During the 80's I had 6 surgeries due to infertility problems. One of the surgeries in 1987 was 6 hours long. Then in 1989 I had a procedure (very painful) to see if my one remaining fallopian tube was open. Low and behold I had my beautiful daughter on 16th April, 1990. I feel a bit sad today that my ''little girl'' is growing up, but also very happy and proud of the loving, caring, clever, beautiful young woman she is becoming. **Just thought Id share this with 'my friends'.

What a wonderful story! I hope Sarah has a great birthday. My daughter was born just 2 months before your daughter. It's amazing to watch them grow up and become their own persons! Enjoy the day!

Thank you for sharing this wonderful event. I believe I know a little about how you feel. It took us 10 years to get out wonderful son, Alex, who is now 34 years old. Happy Birthday to your beautiful daughter and Happy Birthday to her beautiful mother.
