Hi everyone,

I talked with Sheila today!! She has/is having a tough time. She has started having bouts of afib. She also is a bit down, feels that she should be further along (6 months the 9th of April). I did have her laughing by the end of our conversation but then again I "am" a funny guy.

Not much else to share. Keep her in your prayers.

Thanks for the update Tom. I, too, was wondering how she was doing. I had bout of afib two weeks post-op and it is not fun. That alone makes you feel awful. Tell her I send my best and prayers.

Glad to hear that Sheila is still 'with us' Tom!

My Cardiologist was able to tame my A-Fib with Sotalol, the generic form of BetaPace. Eventually, the A-Fib subsided to where I am able to keep it in check with only 40mg (1/2 tablet) ONCE a day, even though it is NOT a time release drug.

I hope Sheila will check into VR.com to 'feel the love' from our extended valve family. Her story IS worth telling, especially for those of us who have also survived Radiation Therapy!
