My husband died around 4:30 this morning. My sister and her husband were here and also the Hospice nurse. He was not in any pain the last few days but was having soooo much trouble breathing. They said that goes with the lung cancer.
I just wanted to let everyone know.
Thank you for all your support and prayers.

I'm very sorry for your loss. My prayers are with you that God gives you strength and peace in this difficult time.

Praline,

I am so sorry. As prepared as you probably were for what seemed inevitable, it's still so very difficult. Sending you my very best wishes...

Karen

Dear Praline,

I am so very sorry to hear of your sweetheart's passing. Thankfully, he didn't suffer much at the end, and you had family there to support you. Please remember to take care of yourself at this difficult time. My thoughts and prayers go out to you, and I hope you can feel the embrace of all your VR family.

Love and Cyber Hugs

Dear Praline, I was just reading your other thread, and my eyes were already flooded thinking of you two. You are far too familiar with loss, and this sure doesn't seem fare. I'm sure you were a tremendous comfort to him, and I hope you will find strength in your knowledge of that. My love and prayers will continue for you both. Your valve bro, Brian

It cannot cripple Love.

It cannot shatter Hope.

It cannot corrode Faith.

It cannot destroy Peace.

It cannot kill Friendship.

It cannot suppress Memories.

It cannot silence Courage.

It cannot invade the Soul.

It cannot steal eternal Life.

It cannot conquer the Spirit."
