We'll be thinking of you, Chris, Ross and Lyn as Chris faces another surgery on Tuesday. Prayers and best wishes flying your way.

We can use them. I hope this goes with no complications. It should. Just got notice from the State Disability determination service that they are just now, after a whole month, going to start requesting medical records and such.

Better late than never, Ross. We'll be waiting and hoping to hear all good results of the surgery and the disability determination.

Chris is supposed to call the SDD if he is hospitalized, so I told him to call tomorrow and let the case worker know that he's going for surgery Tuesday and that at least one possibly two more surgeries would be in the forcast. Maybe they'll move a little faster? Yeah um sure they will.

Best of luck for Chris on Tuesday ..Will the Depart. of SDD be open tomorrow? MLK ,Jr. Holiday ..I think all Government offices are closed?..Bonnie

I wish Chris and all of you all the best. Don't hold much hope out for Ohio moving quickly but, hey, miracles do happen.

Ross,

Thoughts/prayers coming for Chris, you and your entire family. Hope the surgery goes well....

All kinds of positive thoughts headed toward Chris and Lynn and you, Ross! Glad to hear that the disability board is at least communicating with you/Chris. That's a good step.

Positive Thoughts and Big Hugs coming your way to all of you! Hope the surgery goes well and Ohio gets its act together

Wishing Chris all the best for his surgery. I will say some prayers that all goes well tomorrow and during the time in this contraption.

I remember seeing a young man with one on his arm. It was mighty ugly, but doing the job for him. And he didn't seem bothered by pain, at least as far as I could tell. I think he had had it on for a while. He was at a wedding, and having as much fun as everyone else. It was a good conversation piece. He wasn't lonely, surrounded by sweet young sympathetic things :)

Hey Ross,
Hoping that Chris's surgery goes well for him. I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers.

The ortho seems to think that we can crank this foot into position in 3 to 4 weeks, so hopefully he's right. Once that's done, the Plastic Surgeon will contour the graft and put another skin graft on. When that's healed, hopefully it's off to rehab and get him walking on it.
