I am so sad again

My niece passed away this morning after a long battle with cancer. This is like a repeat of my daughter in law several years ago. We were expecting it and knew it was coming and hospice was there and all but it is still always a shock. It is hard to take. And I am so sad for my sister and brother in law. I know that no one on here knew her or my family but I just felt the need to tell you. I think this is one place where we can all get our share of sympathy and I feel like I need some today.

Missy, it is so hard to go through a cancer passing. One of the saddest. You know it is coming and there isn't a thing you can do to stop it. I am so sorry for you and especially the parents. Our children aren't supposed to leave us before we go. We can only try to believe that God had a reason to take her home. But we question it. Blessings for all of you.

Missy, I know how hard it is to say good-bye to loved ones even though the parting is expected and will end suffering. A good friend at church was put on a ventilator on Christmas but I think it was to just move his anticipated death a little away from Christmas. Likewise, for your family, Christmas will not be the anniversary of her death. You and your loved ones are in my prayers today for help from the one who can even give comfort to the comfortless.
