This must be some sort of game, but I'm not finding it very funny.
The DMA program has a capped appropriation which may limit the number of individualsapproved for DMA. The CDJFS must permit all individuals to apply for DMA. However, because of the capped appropriation, approval of DMA applications may be suspended toensure that DMA expenditures do not exceed the state's appropriation. The Director ofODJFS, pursuant to rule 5101:1-42-01 of the Ohio Administrative Code, issued anAdministrative Order to suspend the approval of all applications for Disability MedicalAssistance (DMA). As long as this administrative suspension on new DMA application is inplace, applications are denied using reason code 693. In Ohio, CDJFSs administer the program under the supervision of ODJFS.

Were waiting on the determination services decision, but even so, there won't be any medical payments. Medicare will not take effect until 2 years after the date of disability, so really, whether he is or not is not an issue.Barbara Stewart said:Can Chris get Disability (SSA)?

Cort the only thing I can figure is that there are other programs that he will be eligible for, but this one he's not for the reason cited. I've looked, but havent' fouind any besides traditional medicaid, which is what I thought this applies to. At least I hope so!knightfan2691 said:I can't either, frankly. Oh you betcha! The elected person has never done a thing for me in the past, so I don't expect he will this time either, but he's sure going to hear about it.maka said:Ross
