Thank you, Nancy, for taking us down your memory lane with pictures. How beautiful you are - Joe is so handsome. What a great history he has. I know you are proud of him.

I tried to put in a condolence but it wouldn't go. But I did get a candle.

Nancy:
Joe was an inspiration for me and I expect a lot of others on this site! I especially like your "Never give in and never give up". Joe has finished his mission with us mortals and has moved on to immortality. Although you won't be able to physically see or touch him, he will be there every day and continue to provide inspiration w/o any pain or other ailments.

I'd like to offer my condolences and anything I can do for support. Joe and your family are in my prayers.

we are with you,
sylvia

Hi, Nancy. This is one of the first times I've logged on post-op. I was very sad to see that Joe had passed, although not totally surprised, as I know he had been very sick.

My and Noni's hearts go out to you. Having her by my side throughout my AVR process has meant the world to me. I know that your companionship, friendship, and care for Joe through the years filled him with immeasurable love and gratitude.

Thank you for sharing your story with us.

Peace-

Dear Nancy -

The writeup on the memorial site was excellent, as was the picture selection; you two complimented each other to complete a very attractive couple. Thank you for sharing it with us. Joe evidently lived a very full and happy life. I also like the donation direction note toward the end. Very nice.

Everything else has probably been said already by all the other Valvers. But, please stay close to VR.COM. You have so much to offer to so many, with the experiences of endurance that you went through with your dear mate and buddy, Joe.

With continuing heartfelt sympathy, ~Susan

I am so sorry. He will be in my prayers. But I suspect that from what he has been through he is much closer to the angels than I am, perhaps it is I that shouod be asking for his prayers.

Does anyone have snail mail address for Nancy? I would like to send a card.
Please do not post her snail mail address here, but send it via email.

Nancy,

My first thought, like that of so very many others, was OH, NO! Not now!

But it sounds like Joe gave life the best he could and he was a success and an inspiration to many of us. I never met Joe, but through you I feel that I knew him. He was so lucky to have you for his life's partner, and you were lucky to have him.

Both of you have been inspirational examples to all of us. We thank you both. Our prayers are with you ever. May the Lord be with him. . .

Steve

To Nancy and Family,
My sincere condolences for your loss.

Even though I did not get to know you and Joe, reading Joe's background in the tribute him, I felt so much closer to you guys. It is a small world ? Joe and I lived in the same town and worked for the same company for about 10 years. His fight is an inspiration for those of us new to VR.com. This earthly loss is a gain in haven. You will be in my prayers. God bless.

With Deepest Sympathy

With Deepest Sympathy

Dear Nancy,

A brave warrior in the fight with valvular heart disease and so many other complications is now at rest.

There are no words to express my admiration and concern for you, Nancy, who so faithfully played such a key part in the battle.

May you be comforted in knowing that you and his doctors did everything possible for your beloved husband. I am sure your loving care accomplished things far beyond what medicine and surgery alone could ever have done.

You have my deepest sympathy,
Arlyss

Nancy - please know that you're in my thoughts during this time. I would have liked to have known Joe - although through your writings, it seemed like I did. Anyone lucky enough to have such an advocate as yourself must have been quite a guy.

Please take care of yourself, and let Joe look out for you now.

Nancy,
So sorry for your loss. You've been so helpful to so many here and both you and Joe an inspiration.
Deepest sympathies and prayers headed your way...

My condolences.
