Hi everyone... This is Priscila, David's wife. I just got back from the Cardiac ICU, and David is doing great! He was in surgery for 4 hrs and 30 min and Dr. Ryan ended up doing the Ross Procedure. The repair was not a good option per Dr. Ryan. I am pretty sure that as soon as David is back home, he will post a detailed explanation to why the repair was not an option. So, stay tuned for that... He looks good and made a few jokes, so I know that he is okay. Thank you for all your prayers and please continue to pray for a fast recovery. I will post another update tomorrow.

Bob... Oh yes! We received the shirt and David took a "before surgery picture" last night. He wanted to have the before and after pictures. Thanks everyone for your messages and I will tell David tomorrow that y'all said HI.

Wow --- David must have done fabulous! Great to hear he's cracking jokes already. Stretch is still out of it - but he moved to a stepdown unit today. Thanks for keeping us posted Priscilla. Here's to a speedy recovery - from one wife to another! Cheers!

Thanks so much for updating us. The next couple of weeks may be a little up and down but that is to be expected. A good successful Ross is a good thing to have. I pray all goes well for David and you. By the way, I can't wait to see the before and after in Bob's shirt. It is such a tangible way to show how connected we are in spirit. You get some sleep too. I think it is just as hard, if not harder at times, to be the spouse.
