If you missed the NGC special tonight they used 4-D ultrasound to follow the developmentof puppies, a dolphin, and an elephantfrom conception to birth. This is one of the coolest things I have ever seen!!

I agree it was fascinating! I wish I had taped it for my daughters.

Darn! I knew there was something I had meant to watch Sunday night, instead of going out to eat, grocery shopping, etc.
The promos for that special were great.

I've had ultrasounds done on pregnant cats -- very interesting to see the babies as they develop. (We count spine lines and heads to determine how many kittens the mom is carrying.)

I'm sure National Geographic will be selling this on a DVD. No doubt they'll rerun it too at some time.
