Just saw this post, and frankly scrolled down to see your update first, to make sure everything went well. Whew! Things don;t often go as smoothly for the two of you! Although with your Joe, the next few days should tell the true story.

Things are still going well. The Vancomycin and Hydrocodone caused GI issues:rolleyes: , but they are disappearing. Appetite was affected, but that seems to be coming back now. I hope this is the last of the procedures for a LONG time, it takes a lot out of Joe, me too ;)

The surgical site looks good. It does make for one huge blood vessel.

glad to hear that joe is doing better with each new day. those GI issues must have scared the daylights out of you (with c.diff. in his background.... and it's a good thing you have joe home now!).

Hi Nancy, so glad to hear that Joe continues to do well and is adjusting to the meds. Indeed you both have had enough procedures. Here's hoping that 2007 will be procedure free due to great progress!
 
Hope that you are having a GREAT HOLIDAY SEASON. Joann and I thought about you and Joe when we drove from NY Thruway to Burlington, Vermont last month.
