Obviously, we're going to suggest you discuss it with your doctor. As the internal bleeding must have stopped, you should bear in mind that the only way the body can move out the accumulated blood vessels is through the lymphatic system, which uses the movement of regular muscles to pump things around, as it has no heart or arterial system.
Vigorous movement won't speed the process up, so you don't need to do anything atheletic, but general movement is necessary to take "the blues" (or perhaps the purples and greens by now) away.
